GS resident arrested on a VZC Grand Jury indictment

Sheri Raylynn Roach, 47, of Grand Saline was arrested Oct. 3 on a Van Zandt County Grand July indictment charging her with misapplication of fiduciary property, a State Jail Felony, according to information released by VZC Criminal District Attorney Tonda Curry.

U.S. Air Force celebrated during ceremony in Canton

In a cooperative effort, the Canton Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) 12219 along with the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial held a ceremony celebrating 78 years of the United States Air Force on Sept. 18.
