During a special called meeting Sept. 18, the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court voted to move the date of their next regular meeting from Wednesday, Sept. 24, to Friday, Sept. 26, beginning at 9 a.m. in the VZC Courthouse.

According to VZC Judge Andy Reese, the date change was made due to the fact that one of the commissioners would not be able to attend on Sept. 24.

The agenda items for the Sept. 26 regular meeting were not known at press time.
