Dallas Fox of the Fox & Co. Military Museum in Scurry (far left) recently donated a display of military memorabilia to the Van Zandt County Courthouse. The display is located next to the front entrance of the VZC Clerk’s office on the second f loor of the courthouse. VZC to apply for restoration grant

During their final regular meeting of 2025 on Dec. 31, the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to authorize VZC Judge Andy Reese to apply for the Texas Historical Commission Courthouse Program’s (THCPP) Courthouse Restoration Grant in 2026.
