National 4-H Week Proclamation approved by commissioners’ court

A proclamation recognizing the week of Oct. 6 as 2024 National 4-H Week was unanimously approved by the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court during its regular meeting Sept. 25. VZC Judge Andy Reese read the proclamation to those in attendance.
In recognition of National 4-H Week during the week of October 6-12, the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court unanimously approved a resolution Sept. 25 during the regular meeting of the commissioners’ court. VZC football teams win four out of five games Sept. 20

Sports Correspondent It was an overall good Friday night for varsity football teams in Van Zandt County Sept. 20 as the Grand Saline Indians, the Canton Eagles, the Van Vandals, and the Edgewood Bulldogs came out with impressive victories while the Wills Point Tigers suffered a narrow four-point defeat.
