UT Tyler announces Honors Scholars

The University of Texas at Tyler recently recognized nine high school seniors as 2025 Honors Scholars. Each student has been awarded a $40,000 scholarship and accepted into the UT-Tyler Honors College.

After finishing their district schedule undefeated, the Canton Eaglettes entered their ‘second season’ Feb. 10 with a lot of momentum and they made sure that there was no letup in their game as they entered the Class 4A state girls’ basketball playoffs.
