My name is Don Kirkpatrick, a lifetime Republican and former Van Zandt County Judge. I am writing this letter to announce my endorsement for my friend and Republican Conservative Candidate Brent Money in the upcoming run-off election for Texas State Representative HD2 on January 30th, 2024.

Republicans in this county and state rightly want unity. Why, then, is the party so deeply divided? My answer is there are two factions in the Republican Party each with a different definition of “unity.”
