The TexasA&M Extension Service Offices of Van Zandt County, Smith County, Rains County and Kaufman County have announced Summit June 30 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Van Zandt County Farm Bureau Center located at 220 Burnett Trail in Canton.

McPherson College, a four-year private college located in central Kansas, has announced that Hunter Robinson of Edgewood was among the students that earned a degree and graduated from the college on May 20, 2023.

Van Zandt County Judge Andy Reese announced recently that there will be a public election equipment demonstration beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 22, at the Canton Civic Center., located at 800 Flea Market Road in Canton. The demonstration is open to all registered voters in VZC.
