Joy Holden of Van was named to the Fall 2022 Dean’s List at LeTourneau University. The Dean’s List recognizes students who have achieved a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.99 for the semester.

The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Neches River Chapter, held its annual George Washington Tea Feb. 11. At the event, the chapter presented Good Citizen Awards to seven high school seniors, one from each school in the county.
