SueZan Goldsborough Stutts, 71, of Wills Point, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at Eubank Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Prather officiating.
A celebration of life for Danny Lynn Ramsey, 55, of Wills Point, will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at Ramsey’s Roadhouse. Services were arranged by Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Danny passed away Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by family and friends with their presence and phone calls.
Services for Margaret Moore Rutherford, 71, of Grand Saline, were held Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home with Pastor Don Fleming officiating. Interment was in Silver Lake Cemetery. Mrs. Rutherford passed away Nov. 26, 2021, in Grand Saline. She was born June 9, 1950, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She moved to Grand Saline at the age of 16 and lived there the rest of her life.
It was a very informative meeting for the 106 who attended the November meeting with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. There were several hot button issues that AG Paxton addressed.
On Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at approximately 11:29 a.m. Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received a call regarding a carjacking at gunpoint (aggravated robbery) at the Love’s Truck Stop in the city limits of Van.
