1932-2024 Funeral services for David Daniel Rushin, age 91, of Edgewood, were held Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jimmy Rodgers officiating. Interment followed at Shooks Chapel Cemetery with David Rushin, Joseph Winchester, Matthew Winchester, Scott Winchester, Joe Cagle and BJ Anderson serving as pallbearers.

1998-2004 Bethaney Raé Thomas, 26, of Grand Saline went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2024. Bethaney was born on January 21, 1998, to Gary and Deana Thomas in Dallas.

1956-2004 Services for Garry Winn were held on Saturday, March 23 at Hilliard Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Meadows officiating. Visitation was held one hour before the service and a graveside service followed at Sand Flat Cemetery.

1939-2024 Betty Hawthorne Whitaker passed away March 16, 2024. She was born down the road from where she resided for the past 30-plus years.
