1931-2023 Funeral services for James Lloyd Allen, 91, of Fruitvale, were held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood. Burial followed at Small Cemetery.

1965-2023 Ed Greer was born in Dallas on Sept. 17, 1965, to Lawrence Greer and his wife, the Late Edna “Mickie” Cole Greer.

1931-2023 Funeral services for Gwendolyn Rae Taylor Darr Powell, 91, of Kingston, Oklahoma, were held on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

1940-2023 J.B. “Jim” Lathem, 82, of Wills Point, passed in peace on March 21, 2023–the first, full day of his favorite season, spring.

1938-2023 Funeral services for John Franklin Butler, 84, of Wills Point, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro.

1955-2023 A celebration of life for Debra “Debbie” Brinson Null, 67, of Edgewood, is scheduled for 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

1928-2023 Lorene Amira Chappell went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, March 30, 2023. She spent most of her life in the Assembly of God church but for the last few years, she attended Word of Victory Church, where she loved seeing her grandchildren lead praise and worship and preach.
