November 3, 1944 – October 21, 2024 Johnnie Laurin Bryant, longtime dedicated educator, passed away peacefully in his home on October 21, 2024, in Cranfills Gap, Texas. Born November 3, 1944, in Grand Saline to Gordon and Glenda Bryant, Johnnie attended Grand Saline schools through 11th grade and graduated from Van High School in 1963.

June 14, 1925 – October 16, 2024 A visitation for Mary Helen Runte, 99, of Edgewood was held 11 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point and a graveside service was held at Small Cemetery in Edgewood. Mary Helen Lay was born on June 14, 1925, in Edgewood to parents John Clayton Lay and Florence Eula Attwood Lay.

July 22, 1962 – October 16, 2024 A Celebration of Life for Karen Paige Sellers, 62, of Lindale, was held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Main Street Baptist Church, Grand Saline, with Pastor Kyle Nees officiating. Interment followed in Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

October 26, 1957 – October 17, 2024 Joyce Ann Seay, 66, of Terrell passed peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Graveside services to honor her life were held at 2 p.m.

May 30, 1946 – October 15, 2024 Funeral services for Jean LeMonds, 78, of Ben Wheeler, were held Monday, October 21, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Ben Wheeler with Bro. Carlton Young and Bro.

November 11, 1938 – October 14, 2024 A graveside service for Alta Rhea Thompson Westmoreland, 85, of Canton, was held Friday, October 18, 2024, at Haven of Memories with John Crow and Mark Robinson officiating. A visitation was held prior to the service at Eubank Funeral Home.

November 19. 1936 – September 7, 2024 A memorial service for Jimmie Watson, 87, of Canton, was held at 11 a.m.

October 21, 1957-October 7, 2024 Mark Steven Taylor, 66, of Edgewood passed away on October 7, 2024. Mark was born on October 21, 1957, in Dallas to Jack and Anna Lou Luttrell Taylor.
