Graveside services for Mr. James Gaskey, 91, of Quinlan, were held Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, at Woodside Cemetery with Bro. Garvin Pulley officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Services for Gerald C. Heddins, 82, of Fruitvale, were held Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at Main Street Baptist Church, with Bro. David Crain, Ramey Heddins, Pastor Frank Webster, and Dr. Bruce Smilie officiating.

Willie M. Nealy, 93, passed away Wednesday, Feb.

On Feb. 20, 2022, Oleta Faye Curtis Abbott, widow of Clifford Abbott, passed away at the age of 94.

Funeral services for Joe Howard Henson, 77, of Terrell, were held Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.

Hollis Ray Jones was born on Oct. 31, 1948, in Egypt, Texas, to parents the Rev. Jessie James Jones, Sr. and Laddis (Wren) Jones. He was born into a family of 13 siblings, with an additional four half-siblings and two step-siblings. Hollis was baptized at an early age and became a member of Fagen Addition Church of God and Christ.

Thomas Hudgin Willmon III has moved home to live with his mom in heaven. Thomas entered this world on Feb.

Ernest Michael “Mike” Smith, 71, formerly of Wills Point, passed away Monday, Feb. 14, in West Columbia, South Carolina, following a sudden illness. Visitation was held Tuesday, Feb. 22, and the service was Wednesday, Feb. 23, both at Hiett’s Lybrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Kerry Wayne Priddy, 72, of Wills Point, passed away on Feb. 15, 2022, in Dallas.

Bonnie Jean Modlin, 84, of Edgewood, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, in Tyler.
