February 11, 1932 – May 6, 2025 Mary Jo Hullum Matlock, 93, of Wills Point passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Dallas surrounded by her family. Born on February 11, 1932, in Wills Point to John Albert and Carrie Mae Lea Hullum, she grew up on the family farm, where they initially raised cotton before transitioning to cattle.

August 1, 1951 - Tuesday, May 6, 2025 A memorial service for Linda Martinez, 73, of Wills Point was held Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Hiett’s Ly-Brand Funeral Home. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.

August 11, 1941 – April 15, 1961 Funeral services for Roy Roger Moore, 83, of Wellington, Florida, were held 2 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2025, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, and was officiated by Pastor David Cartwright. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery.

April 24, 1946 – May 7,2025 Angela Kay Smith was born on April 24, 1946, in Topeka, Kansas, to Carl Smith and Sara Tutt. Angie passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in Tyler.

September 25, 1946 – May 2,2025 John Albert Kenyon, more fondly known as Dad, Granddaddy, and Pop to those who loved him, passed away peacefully and entered Heaven in the early morning hours on May 2, 2025, in Bonham at the age of 78. John was born to William Albert Kenyon and Sarah Louise Hart Kenyon on September 25, 1946, in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Nelda Jean McCauley, 87, of Canton passed away peacefully in Arlington on April 18, 2025. She was born on October 5, 1937, in Canton to Homer Dewitt Wages Sr. and Della Mae Crabtree Wages. She was the youngest girl of 11 children.

April 24, 1942- April 17, 2025 James McArthur Tyson was born April 24, 1942, in Louisiana. He moved to Texas in 1962 where he met his wife, Betty.

September 23, 1997- April 10, 2025 Noal Algamedi, 27, of Wills Point passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at her home. She was born in Dallas to Mazahaem Mohammed Algamedi and Kimberly JoAnn French.
