Robert Glen Eaton, 80, of Edgewood, passed away Jan. 13, 2022, at Crestwood Nursing Home. He was born July 30, 1941, in Grand Saline, to the late Robert (Choc) Lester Eaton and Ola Faye Wagner. He was raised in Edgewood, where he lived most of his life. Robert served in the United States Navy following high school. He married Sharon Cook on March 29, 1963, and they lived in Edgewood, where they raised their children.

Robert and Sharon owned and operated Eaton’s Grocery for many years. He later managed Young Chevrolet in Dallas, and then retired as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his

Glen is survived by his wife, Sharon Eaton of Edgewood; son Landon Eaton of Edgewood; daughter, Tonya Stoltzfus and husband Dean of Edgewood; brother, Jimmy Don Eaton of Canyon Lake; sister, Cathy Rogers and husband Michael of Kaufman; grandchildren, Brandon, Griffin, Ashleigh, Landry, Davis, Taylor, Gabriel and Braylen; and many other relatives and friends.
