A graveside service for Charlotte Ray Youngblood, 89, of Wills Point, was held Friday, March 4, 2022, at White Rose Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Charlotte passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at her home. She was born on June 14, 1932, in Wills Point, to parents David Andrew Youngblood and Lucille Sinclair Youngblood. She was a lifelong member of the community growing up in town and graduating from Wills Point High School. After graduation Charlotte went to college and obtained her nursing degree. She was employed with Baylor Scott & White in Dallas as a nurse for more than 35 years before retiring. Charlotte was a member of the Russell Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Lucille Youngblood.

Charlotte is survived by her sister, Betty Edward of Garland; brother, James Youngblood of Wills Point; and her dear friend, Jackie Carl of Wills Point.
