July 18, 1981 – March 8, 2026

Ashley Ann Silverman, 44, passed away at her home from ovarian cancer in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, March 8, 2026.

At her bedside was her mother, Oneida Helen Gamon, father, Alan Robert Silverman and stepmother, Darlene Silverman. Ashley was born in Sharon, Massachusetts, on July 18, 1981. When she was about six months old, the Silverman family moved to Canton.

She grew up on the Gamon High Point Horse Ranch. She went through the Canton school system and graduated from Canton High School in the Spring Class of 1999. In growing up, she and her brother, Beau Dollgener, and cousin, Stacy Gale, were active in The Canton Trail Riders’ Play Day activities for about 15 years, winning many Red and Blue Ribbons. Ashley was very intelligent with a good, if sometimes goofy, sense of humor. She loved to make you laugh. She was sweet, loving and faithful.

Besides her love of horses, she loved to garden and grow her own vegetables. She founded her own Award-Winning baking business, ‘Got Baked,’ specializing in gluten free, sugar free, works of art and vegan meals which she sold at farmer’s markets in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Ashley was a brave and adventurous woman. She followed her heart and nothing got in her way. She lived and worked in Chicago, Illinois, for many years returning back to Texas and then to Florida and finally to Colorado, a state that captured her heart. She made many devoted friends who rushed to her aid in her final weeks.

Ashley is survived by her loving parents; her nieces, Destiny Dollgener Davis and Chelsey Dollgener Smith; her uncles, Ronald Silverman, Robert ‘Bob’ Gamon and James Gamon; her aunts, Margaret Gamon Morris and Rachael Ray Gamon; her maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Roy Gamon; her devoted cousin, Stacy Ann Gale Levin; and cousins Jeff Gamon (a surprise neighbor in Colorado) and Jamie Gamon.

She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Beau Dollgener, and her paternal grandparents, Jack W. Silverman and Janet Paysnick Silverman. Help us fight this terrible disease.
