Longtime Vandal supporters, Buddy and Carolyn Tunnell, were honored during the Van ISD School Board meeting with the Forever Vandal Award by the Van ISD Board of Trustees for their dedication, devotion, and love for Van ISD students. “Mr. and Mrs. Tunnell loved children of all ages. They supported our youngest Vandals through their volunteer work each week in Literacy Partners and our older Vandals by showing up to nearly every Vandal sporting event to cheer them on! Mr. and Mrs. Tunnell are moving to be closer to their children and will be sorely missed in our community. Help us thank and congratulate these two deserving Forever Vandals,” stated Van ISD trustees.
