Van ISD was the final school district in Van Zandt County to begin the 2025-26 school year as students reported for classes Aug. 14. Students, teachers, and administrators were excited to get another academic year underway.

It was the Van City Council’s turn to address the proposed Saline Creek Reservoir Project during their regular monthly meeting Aug. 14.
