The end of the First Called Special Session of 2025 is in sight, but the Texas Senate did its job by passing all 16 items on the Governor’s list. Unfortunately, House Democrats fled the state, leaving their duties, families, and constituents in the lurch.

Hay samples to be collected Aug. 28 for VZC Hay Show

It is time to prepare for the 2025 Van Zandt County Hay Show. As one of the oldest hay shows in Texas, we are excited to inform you that we will be collecting hay samples at the AgriLife Extension Office from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28.
