1951 – 2024 Donna Rankin Whitehead, a beloved resident of Wills Point, peacefully passed away on January 11, 2024, in Dallas at the age of 72. Her funeral services were held Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the New Release Fellowship Baptist Church in Wills Point, with visitation starting two hours prior to the service.

1948 - 2023 A graveside service for William Joseph Crawford, 75, of Canton, was held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Park.

1947 – 2024 Molly Lu Castleberry of Denver, Colorado passed away January 7, 2024, at the age of 76. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held May 25, 2024, at 11 a.m.

The Wills Point Tigers continued their winning ways as they resumed district play Jan. 2 with a 5646 victory at home over the Community Braves.
