The Edgewood Lady Dogs continued their winning ways on the volleyball court Oct. 10 as they won at Prairiland, 25-20, 25-18, 222-25, 25-17.

Varsity football teams in Van Zandt County went 3-3 overall Oct. 6 as some teams are making their push for post-season play while others are looking ahead to next year.

The Canton Eaglettes are tied for first place in the district volleyball race with Lindale after easily disposing of Cumberland Academy on the road Oct. 3 by the final scores of 2516, 25-13, 25-23.

The Wills Point Tiger volleyball team put on an impressive performance Oct. 6 as they defeated Kaufman in three sets with the final scores being 25-17, 25-21, and 25-14.

The Canton Running Eagles hosted the District 16-4A Cross Country Meet on Oct. 10 with the Canton varsity girls finishing third overall and advancing to the regional meet Oct.

With a winning percentage of 75, Teddy D. Bass of Fruitvale is the winner of Football Contest No.
