Body David Norman Barbee was born in Arlington on August 18,1967, and passed away August 8,2023, in Phil Campbell, Alabama, where he resided with his wife, Marcy, and grandson, Zander.

Body Andy Flowers was born in Sulphur Springs and grew up in Brinker. He was one of six children of John and Ada Flowers. He joined the Army in 1966 and was discharged in 1972. He was a father to Brandy and Jeffrey from his first marriage.

Body The Fruitvale cross country team competed at the North Hopkins Invitational Aug. 31 and the individual results for Fruitvale were as follows: Reyli Rubio, 17th place, 15:48.65; Brooklyn Brown, 40th place, 17:08.24; Madison Mae, 67th place, 23:00.
