A visitation for Wayne Abernathy, 79, of Wills Point was held on Wednesday, September 20, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home. A graveside gathering took place at the Schlobohm family cemetery outside Houston.

Wayne passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Wayne Ray Abernathy was born on December 17, 1942, in Houston, to parents Ray Clarence Abernathy and Beatrice Elvira Schlobohm Abernathy.
