Susan Lide Turner was born on September 9, 1970, in Dallas to parents, Don and Glenda, and sister, Jill Lide. She passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 54.

Visitation and funeral service were held on August 6, 2025, at New Release Fellowship Baptist Church in Wills Point. Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery.
