Shirley Ann Flowers, 87, of Alington, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at her residence.

Shirley was born on August 17, 1934, to the late Grady and Lula Johnson in Wills Point. She was raised in Wills Point and moved to Arlington later in life. Shirley married Bill Flowers on May 2, 1953, and shared 60 years of marriage. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Arlington. Shirley enjoyed taking care of her family, sewing, and quilting for the entire family.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Flowers; daughter, Bonnie McBride; four brothers, and seven sisters.

Shirley is survived by her son, J.B. Flowers and Gina of Alington; daughter, Cindy Flowers; grandchildren, Billy Ann, Grady, Kathryn; Conner, Clinton, and James; five great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends.
