Services for Sally Davis Anderson, 79, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Smith and Bro. Eddie Paul Stanley officiating.

Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, at her home. She was born Oct. 9, 1942, in the Pruitt Community of Van Zandt County to Homer Perry and Era Essie Latta Davis. Sally spent most of her life in Grand Saline, where she graduated from GSHS, Class of 1961, and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She worked for Dr. George B. Marsh, Jr., for over 30 years. She had also worked at Cozby-Germany Hospital, and UTMB at Hutchins State Jail in Dallas. Sally was currently working at Bartley Funeral Home. She was a member of the Van Zandt County Library and served as treasurer of the Old School Museum. She enjoyed her book club, playing Pokeno, and especially loved spending time with her family. Sally is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Chester Leon Davis and Harlan Haskell Davis.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Bobby Anderson of Grand Saline; daughter, Kelly Allen and husband Wesley of Grand Saline; two grandchildren, Chase Drew Allen and wife Cassy of Edom, and Cade Hunter Allen and wife Taylor of Canton; five great-grandchildren, Jaden, Damen, Leo, Emery, and Haley and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chase Allen, Cade Allen, Kevin Kimmel, Gerald Denton, James Davis, and Jimmy Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harlan Wayne Davis, Robert Earl Davis, Garrett Gilkerson, and John Winkler.

Memorials may be made to Corinth Cemetery or the Old School Museum.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the funeral home.

Sally will be greatly missed by the Bartley crew.
