Services for Roy Don “Donnie” Wann, Jr., 60, of Wills Point, were held Monday, March 18, 2024, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Jonathan Leach officiating. Interment was held at Small Cemetery in Edgewood.

Donnie passed away March 11, 2024, in Dallas. He was born October 3, 1963, in Grand Saline to Roy Don Wann, Sr. and Patricia Ann McPherson Wann.

Donnie was a Baptist by faith. In high school, he was on the FFA Show Team and showed cattle. He graduated from Edgewood High School in 1982. As a young man, he was a member of the Edgewood Volunteer Fire Department. Donnie worked in maintenance in food processing and a paper mill for many years. He was a fan of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. When he was younger, he tried to always go to the opening game of the Rangers every year. He enjoyed watching TV and playing video games. Donnie was a loving person who loved his family and friends.

Donnie is preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy Morris Wann, Lucille Smith Spence, Eli Jackson McPherson, and Audie Gilmore McPherson. He is survived by his parents, Roy Don Wann Sr., and Patricia McPherson Wann; uncle, Jerry Eli, and Carol McPherson; aunt, Carol Wilcoxson; and a number of cousins and friends.
