1952-2022

Raul Gomez Vasquez was born on April 6, 1952, to late Gregorio and Juanita Vasquez in Stanford.

He moved to Smith County in the 1970s to work at Kelly Springfield Tire Plant. He then moved to Canton 28 years later to start his own landscaping business that has been in operation for 20 years.

Raul and his wife, Synthia, attend Grace Bible Fellowship as well as Crossroads Church in Canton.

He passed away on Nov. 14, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lydia Vasquez.

He is survived by his wife; son; five stepchildren, and 18 grandchildren.

His celebration of life was held on Dec. 8, 2022, at Grace Bible Fellowship at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers and memorial contributions may be made to the children services at Grace Bible Fellowship at 17897 FM 1255 and Crossroads Church at 1930 S. Trade Days Blvd.
