1954-2024

Randy Lynn Orms, 69, of Garland passed away on May 4, 2024. Born on July 20, 1954, in Gilmer, Randy was a beloved member of the community. Randy dedicated many years of his life to his career at Kodiak Fire, retiring in 2023. He was a hard working individual who was respected by his colleagues and peers.

He was of the Baptist Faith and found solace in worship. Randy enjoyed Metal Scrapping, Casino, and traveling in his free time, pursuing these hobbies with passion and enthusiasm.

Randy will be deeply missed and is survived by his sons: John Glover (Jessi) and Gary Glover (Cindy), stepson, Rick Glover (Michelle), sister, Darla Matura (Dwayne), five grandchildren: Johnathan Glover, Jackson Glover, Richard Glover, Jr. (Cody), Mary Glover, Allie Glover, great-granddaughter, Stella Ann Glover, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Orms and Pauline Lennon Orms; wife, Connie Gene Orms; brother, Larry Orms; sister, Beverly Orms; and nephew, Greg Johnson.
