Paul David Copeland passed away on Sept. 10, 2021. He was born in Pine Bluff Arkansas on Oct. 16, 1943.

He had a successful tire business for over 40 years. In his later years after retirement, he enjoyed watching NFL football especially the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons watching them play school football. He loved to fish, travel and was very knowledgeable about repairing things. Paul was a good father, grandfather and husband.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Sharon Kay Copeland; stepson, Tim Petty of Dallas; son, Darren Copeland; grandsons, Paul Dillan Lee Copeland and Mathew Tyler D. Copeland all of Canton, sisterin-law Vickie Melton of San Antonio; brother-in-law, David Melton of Dallas along with several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Faye Copeland; sister, June Copeland; brother, Mike Copeland and brother-in-law, Joe Melton.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
