Funeral services for Leah Raye Hendrix, 83, of Wills Point, were held on Nov. 16, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial followed at Small Cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to service time.

Leah passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, after a long battle with dementia.

Leah Raye Covington was born on Oct. 2, 1939, in Wills Point, to parents Ben H. Covington and Rushie A. Freeman.
