Larry Don Largin, 72, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away on August 3, 2024, after a lengthy battle with heart disease. He was surrounded by family members.

Larry was born in Pampa, Texas on September 7, 1951, to the late Sid and Alice Largin. He spent his childhood in Pampa and moved to Canton with his family as a teen. Larry attended Canton High School. Larry was known to his friends and family as a kind-hearted soul with a passion for cooking, storytelling, and building things with his hands. He loved family gatherings and being the center of attention as he held everyone’s attention with tales from his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Larry is survived by his wife, Lisa Byers, Yukon, Oklahoma; his children, Coyce, Jeffrey, Amanda, and Shelby from Texas. He is also survived by his three stepchildren, Matt and spouse Stephanie, Josh, and Breeanna of Oklahoma, his brother, Jerry Largin, and sisters, Sally Mattingly, and Judy Vestal. Also, Larry is survived by 10 grandchildren, plus several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on his birthday, Sept. 7, including family and close friends.
