1946 – 2024

Joy Jeannene Masterson Barnhart passed away February 24, 2024, in Grand Saline. She was born July 2, 1946, in Dallas, to Donald Joy “Indian” & Florence Evelyn Riley Masterson.

She worked for the Dallas Police Dept. in her earlier years, where she met her husband, Jack “Barney” Barnhart.

Joy spent most of her life in the Grand Saline area where she and Jack owned and operated Barney’s Pawn Shop (Mineola and Grand Saline) for many years.
