Joanette was born on October 13, 1962, in Wills Point to Howard Pershing Reid and Anna Mae Willingham Reid.

A memorial service honoring both Tommy and Joanette was held Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Hiett’s Ly-Brand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Family received friends one hour prior to service time
