Services for Janelle Burgess was held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Hilliard Funeral Home with a graveside service that followed at Sand Flat Cemetery.

Greta Janelle Damron Burgess was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Dallas.

Janelle passed away at the age of 92 on September 6, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Douglas Burgess; daughter, Cathy Lynn Arrington; sons, David Wayne Burgess and Harold Douglas Burgess, Jr.; mother, Christine Elizabeth Mayo; brother, Jody Wayne Damron; and an infant brother.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Diane & Tom Adams; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Dale and Debbie Burgess, and Danny Burgess and Jonni Kay Campbell.
