Gerald Wayne Barrett, of Edgewood, Texas, passed away earlier this year.

He was preceded in death by his second wife, Jeanette, his parents, and several siblings. He is survived by his two sons, Justin and Jeremy, and their families and by his many nieces and nephews in Texas.

Gerry was born to Arthur and Dollie Barrett on July 8, 1948, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He worked as a millwright for many years and was a Vietnam veteran. His family is grateful to the support given to him during his life by the VA. Gerry was interred with military honors at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. We ask that anyone moved to honor Gerry do so with a donation to their local VA.
