Funeral services for Elizabeth Calloway, 99, of Wills Point, were held on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at St. Luke Catholic Church in Wills Point. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery. A rosary was held at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Abraham was born on Nov. 28, 1922, in Mingus, TX, to parents Joe Abraham and Myra Lillian George Abraham. Elizabeth married Warren Eugene Calloway on May 24, 1947, and they made their home in Wills Point. She was a founding member of the St. Luke Catholic Church. Elizabeth enjoyed playing pinochle and skip bo, cooking, baking and needle work. Elizabeth most loved spending time with family especially her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Myra Abraham; husband, Warren E. Calloway; siblings, Cecil; Nate; Gailey; Sam; Albert; George and Manny Abraham; Mary Walker, and Linda Childers.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister, Emily Bosley; sister-in-law, Virginia Abraham; nieces and nephews, Kathleen Leal; Ginda Abraham; Sheri Sims; Pete Abraham; Mary Jane Breaud; Joe Bosley; Jim Bosley; Monica L’Hommedieu and Therese Bosley; special friends, Pam Robertson; Clairse Adair and Peggy Kinney, along with numerous great nieces, great nephews, and many other good friends.
