Clara Jane Holden, 78, of Wills Point, passed away on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, at her home.

Clara was born on April 6, 1943, in Falls to the late Earnest and Mary Young. Clara was raised by her parents in Stamford, moving to Wills Point in 1969. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wills Point. Clara was married to the late Lloyd “Buddy” Holden. She retired from AT&T out of the quality control department in 2003. She enjoyed being with her family, going to church and working in her yard.

Clara is survived by her two daughters, Lucille Holden and husband, Tom Cheek, of Wills Point, LaNot Holden Fuller and husband, Cecil Fuller, of Wills Point; son, Joe Beck Holden and honorary daughter Elizabeth Holden Parker of Wills Point; grandchildren, Buddy Chivvon Sogge, James Clayton McKiddy Jr., Christopher Aaron McKiddy, Jeremiah David Sitton and Aaron Britton Fuller, and seven great-grandchildren.

Clara is preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers and five sisters.

Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
