Funeral services for Cameron Lane Basham, 34, of Wills Point, were held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial was in White Rose Cemetery. Cameron passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

Cameron Lane Basham was born on June 16, 1987, in Dallas to parents Norman Dennis Basham and Mary Beth Mottwiler. He was raised in Mesquite where he attended school and later graduated from Wills Point High School Class of 2006. Cameron enlisted in the United States Air Force and later attended and graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Cameron married Randilyn Pritchard on Oct. 4, 2014, and they made their home in Forney raising their two daughters. He and Randilyn lived in Forney until moving to northeast Tennessee in Morristown and later to Arkansas where his work took them. Cameron worked in Malvern, Arkansas, until recently moving back to Wills Point to be near his family. He was working at Amazon in Forney as a field service technician for Plug Power. Cameron was very talented and could repair anything. He loved his daughters dearly and was loved by so many family members and friends. Cameron was easygoing, had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone who asked.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Cameron is survived by his father, Norman Basham of Wills Point; mother, Mary “Beth” Marchetti of Garland; daughters, Ileana Rayne Basham and Laynie Renee Basham of Benton, Arkansas; brother, Justin Basham of Wills Point, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held Friday, March 25, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
