Services for Mrs. Virginia Parker Lee, 93, of Blue Mound, were held Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Interment followed in Sand Flat Cemetery.

Mrs. Virginia Lee passed away on February 9, 2025, at her residence. She was born on December 7, 1931, in Wills Point to Howell and Maybell Nicholson Parker.

Virginia spent her early years in Wills Point and she married William Eugene Lee in 1950. They resided in Fort Worth for over 50 years.

Following retirement, they relocated to Fruitvale, where they enjoyed their later years together. For the past five years, Virginia made her home in Blue Mound.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Judy Rippard; great-grandson, Jimmy Greer; and 12 siblings.

Survivors include her two daughters, Darlene Copeland and husband, Jimmy, of Blue Mound, and Brenda Long and husband, Bryan, of Grandview; sister, Mary Tillman of Garland; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Copeland, Anthony Greer, Michael Rippard, Bryan East, John Guerra, and C.J. Harris.

The family received friends one hour prior to services Feb. 15 at the funeral home.
