Funeral services for Romilda Sue Foreman, 87, of Myrtle Springs, were held Friday, August 5, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery.

Romilda passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at her home.

Romilda Sue Sealy was born on May 23, 1935, in Van Zandt County to parents Vergil Fuller Sealy and Thelma Louie Bates. She was raised in Myrtle Springs by her aunt and uncle, Minnie, and Billy Goodwin, and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1953. Romilda married James Foreman on May 29, 1954, and they moved to Dallas to make their home and raise their two children, James Russell Foreman, and Richard Wayne Foreman. She and James moved back to the Myrtle Springs Community in 1984, where they lived for the rest of their lives. Romilda was raised in the Baptist faith and was a long-time member of the Red Hat Society.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James Jeral Foreman; son, James Russell Foreman; aunt and uncle, Minnie and Billy Goodwin, and sister, Bettye Jane Middleton.

Romilda is survived by her son, Richard Wayne Foreman of Wills Point; brother, Jimmy Fondren Sealy of Springfield, OR; sister-in-law, Daphine McDonald of Mesquite; daughter-in-law, Sherry Lynn Foreman of Austin; niece, Donna Ellsworth of Mineral Springs, AR; grandchildren, Jessica Leigh Foreman and husband, Nicholas Myers of Austin; James Thomas Foreman of Mabank, and Joseph Wayne Foreman of Forney, along with numerous other family members and friends. Visitation was Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
