Final Early Voting numbers in Van Zandt County were released Nov. 4 by the VZC Clerk’s office.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) recently announced that the opening of the newly constructed FM 859 bridge over I-20 to traffic took place Thursday, Nov. 7.

Dear Editor: Van Zandt County was awarded a grant from the Texas Historical Commission to cover the cost of the full restoration of the VZCO Courthouse. The $9.5 MILLION grant would have covered the cost of the restoration.
