1940-2023 A funeral service was held for Alva “Lawson” White, 83, of Wills Point on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Eubank Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Cartwright officiating. Lawson went home to the Lord on May 2, 2023, in Tyler, Texas.
The Van Vandals faced a tough draw to open this year’s baseball playoffs, clashing against a talented Liberty-Eylau squad with a consistent track record of reaching postseason play.
