A two-vehicle accident approximately four miles southwest of Quitman resulted in the passing of two individuals March 26, including a 17-year old Alba resident and a 69year old Quitman resident. According to information released by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m.
1937-2023 Graveside services for Ellen Hendry Wheeler, 86, of Canton, were scheduled for noon Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Oakland Cemetery in Canton, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline. Ellen passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in Tyler.
