With the loss of his beloved wife Judy to Alzheimer’s, Jeff Gottesman has dedicated the stage to her memory, as she was instrumental in creating the venue which celebrated 11 seasons prior to her passing.

City of Van Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Executive Director Tammy Weidman recently released information regarding upcoming events in the city. The ‘3rd Thursdays with Erin Picking Circle’ will not take place during the month of January but will resume from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Suspect taken into custody on solicitation charge

A 48-year old Grand Saline man was taken into custody this week on allegations that he attempted to solicit a minor online. According to a Grand Saline Police Department narrative of the situation, officers began an investigation into the allegations on Jan.
