1948 - 2023

A graveside service for William Joseph Crawford, 75, of Canton, was held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Park.

Mr. Crawford passed away December 30, 2023 in Tyler.

He was born May 22, 1948 in Waterloo, Iowa to Myron Dale and Kathryn Delores Stanton Crawford. Upon graduation, Bill joined the US Navy. While stationed in Pensacola, Florida, Bill met his wife, Jacqueline. They were married over 50 years when she passed away.

Bill worked in the merchandising business and moved to Texas in the late 1980’s, where he raised his kids and grandkids. Bill loved travelling, gardening, camping, and fishing with his grandchildren.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Crawford; parents, Myron and Kathryn Crawford; and two brothers: Jim and Dave Crawford.

Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William and Tammy Crawford; daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Allan Holloway; four grandchildren: Alyson and Michael Molloy, Larissa Holloway, Kyle Crawford and Kaylee Crawford; one great-granddaughter, Madelynn Molloy; brother, Alan Crawford; sister, Kathy and Mick Carper; and nephew, Troy Stamper.
