Services for Mr. Emmett Pope, 88, of Dallas were held Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Bro. Larry Shelton and Lester Miller officiating. Burial was at Salem Cemetery, Alba.

Mr. Pope, who spent his early years in Grand Saline, passed away February 2, 2024, at his home in Dallas. He was born July 10, 1935, in Dallas County, to Roy and Pearl Waddill Pope.
