Kathryn A. Bonham of Point passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at the age of 91.
Kathryn was born on Feb. 6, 1930, to the late O.C. and Odell Smith in Cleburne. She grew up in Cleburne and married her late husband Gene Bonham on Nov. 19, 1947. She spent the last 30 years in the Lake Tawakoni area. Kathryn was a member of Chapel of the Lake. She had worked for Dallas Police Department 15 years, retiring from Garland Police Department in 1990 after 15 years of service. Kathryn loved going to the casinos, fishing and reading.
To cherish her memories, Kathryn leaves behind her sons, Danny Bonham and Jane of Groesbeck, Texas and Tony Bonham and Nancy of Mesquite, Texas; daughters, Kathy Cox and James of Point, Texas, and Cindy Minnich and Dennis of Rowlett, Texas; sister-in-law, Carolyn Smith; grandchildren, Wendy Edwards and Scott, Kaitlyn Wolf and Chase and Justin Minnich and great-grandchild Greyson Wolf.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Arthur Smith and Robert Smith, sister Dale Herndon and grandson, Kelly Bonham.
Family received guests Monday, March 29, 2021, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Funeral services followed in the Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel. Kathryn was laid to rest at Bright Star Cemetery in Wills Point.
