Canton Resident Drowns In River

Canton resident Kathy Crow, 52, passed away Wednesday while on a family trip in the Texas Hill County.

Mrs. Crow was the wife of John Crow, owner of Crow Pontiac in Canton.

According to officials, Mrs. Crow was on the Comal River in New Braunfels when she was pulled under water by river undercurrent. She was rescued from the water but later died.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.

There were no additional details available as of press time on Thursday.
