Services for Donna V. Haines Petty, 73, Nashville, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.
Mrs. Petty died July 24, 2008.
She was born October 31, 1934 in Oiltown, Okla., to Leander Lee and Leona Kinman Haines. She was a resident of Nashville for six years, formerly living a number of years in Chandler and Van, where she grew up. She was a homemaker and was of Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Leonard Haines.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Petty, Nashville; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael D. Petty, Dallas, and James Matthew and Sherry Petty, Bossier City, La.; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Steve Hale, Gilmer, and LeAnn and Larry Daniel, Nashville; brothers and sisters-in-law, D.J. and Jill Haines, Pittsburg, and Ted and Wanda Haines, Van; sister, Velma Pease, Grand Junction, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
